Scouting, camporee and SOSOG

It was a great chance for me to be able to join with activity team of 49 th Colombo scouts camporee. Sri Lanka Old Scouts and Old Guides Association; simply known as SOSOG was the main organizer of camporee activities. Here I’m publishing a brief note and some snaps which describe the effort we made and fun we had there. Camporee started on 23 rd of august under the theme of “Passion for the Environment”. I and my school mates help our scouts to make their gateway on first night. It was a 25ft long watch tower stands with two side gateways. After lots of complications we were able to finish it on 24 th afternoon. Then I had to mind on my part of camporee activities. It was my responsibility to conduct Sports activities, mainly archery and rifle shooting. "This is how the things should be.."
